To really dive into its rich history, visit the kasbah, an old citadel with narrow streets full of craft workshops, restaurants, museums, and even snake charmers. The Place de la Kasbah, a square within the kasbah, is ideal for sweeping views of the port and the Strait of Gibraltar. Don’t forget to lose yourself in the Grand Socco, a souk with stalls selling local crafts.
