Where can I park at PortMiami, and how much is it per day?
According to PortMiami, long-term cruise parking is $22 per night, while the daily rate is $8 for short-term parking. There is no reserved parking. PortMiami parking accepts cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, or any major U.S. Traveler’s Check. No debit card transactions are accepted. Garage J is pre-paid only, so you have to pay when you get to Garage J and are given a decal to post inside your vehicle for the duration of the cruise.
For all other parking, you pay as you leave. On cruise days, all garages and lots have a parking attendant from 6 AM to 5 PM. To access parking garages and Lot #2 on non-cruise days, please contact PortMiami Cruise Operations or Port Security at 305-347-4800. Security patrols all facilities. The closest garage to Terminal V is Garage G.

Will I receive any documents in the mail - tickets, luggage tags, etc?
At this time, you will pick up your welcome kit at the port, complete with luggage tags and The Band - your sleek wearable technology made from recycled ocean plastic that will unlock voyage adventures around the ship.
What is the recommended flight arrival time before my voyage?
We recommend booking a flight into the local airport (i.e. MIA or BCN) with an arrival time no later than 2pm.
At what time should I arrive for my voyage?
In the Virgin Voyages app, Sailors can check in prior to their voyage and select an arrival time. Our vessel will set sail at the time listed and will depart in a timely manner. That means on the dot.
Are Sailors able to drop off their luggage at Terminal V earlier than their embarkation time?
While Sailors should drop off luggage at their chosen arrival time, we recognize that this may not be an option for everyone. Therefore, we will begin to accept luggage at Terminal V as early as 9am. Sailors should note that there is minimal seating available outside the terminal, and the terminal building will only be accessible to Sailors at their chosen arrival time. We will also have shuttles available to Bayside Marketplace for Sailors arriving early, and alternative suggestions can be provided by our Terminal Angels local to the area.
Is there a limit on how much luggage Sailors can bring on board?
While we have not placed restrictions on Sailor luggage, we recommend limiting the number of bags you bring on board so that we can accommodate all Sailors and ensure a smooth embarkation. We also recommend checking airline restrictions if you're flying.
What time does general boarding begin?
At Virgin Voyages, we completely support our Sailors' desire for a late checkout. With that, boarding generally begins at 2pm, but Sailors must follow their selected arrival time to complete terminal check-in.
