Check out the 60-foot-tall Grand Turk Lighthouse, or the 18th-century prison still standing in Cockburn Town. You can delve further into the island’s history at the Turks and Caicos National Museum, which contains one of the oldest excavated shipwrecks. It’s also a great place to learn about the island’s indigenous Taino people, who settled there in 700 AD.
