From vibrant regional flavors reimagined with contemporary flair, to saffron-hued interiors that glow long into the night, Ariya’s menu is ready to be shared, savored, and talked about long after the last bite. And like all other onboard eateries, Ariya's groundbreaking new flavors are included in your cruise.
A tribute rooted in heritage and discovery
Named in honor of Sir Richard Branson’s great-great-grandmother, Ariya evokes air, movement, and noble grace. The narrative frames Ariya as a spirited traveler who embraced far-flung ports with curiosity and believed deeply that food could bridge cultures and communities.
That ethos shapes every detail of Ariya — a space where flavors travel freely, conversations linger, and inventive dishes paired with spice-forward beverages bring people together, all infused with the spirit of exploration that defines Virgin Voyages.
Modern Indian, reimagined at sea
Indian cuisine is more than food. It’s a layered story of migration, regional identity, and shared taste. At Ariya, rich tradition meets modern technique, taking Sailors on a vibrant culinary journey across the subcontinent. With a menu designed to suit a range of dining preferences — from vegetarian and vegan to gluten-free and meat-forward — every Sailor can indulge in flavors that feel both personal and unforgettable.
Expect:
- Golgappa Shot: crisp pani puri, chilled spiced herb water
- Malabar Coconut Crab Cake: golden crab cake, coconut spice, green papaya slaw
- Lamb Shake Biryani: papadum, fragrant saffron basmati
- Eggplant Saag Napoleon: roasted eggplant, creamy spinach saag, crisp papadum
- Gulab Jamun Stuffed Cheesecake: cheesecake, saffron-cardamom donut bites
Created in partnership with Indie Culinaire by Chef Maneet Chauhan, Ariya brings globally recognized culinary authority to Valiant Lady. At Ariya, Chef Maneet lends her expertise in translating regional Indian flavors into modern, transportive dining experiences — honoring tradition while pushing it forward.
As part of our culinary evolution where we bring new flavors to Razzle Dazzle at night — Lucky Lotus on Scarlet Lady and Rojo on Brilliant Lady — Ariya is innovative, unexpected, and designed as an experience that’s meant to be shared.
A space that feels soulful and elevated
The corridor entryway sets the tone, easing Sailors into a space designed for discovery. Once inside, the mood shifts. Saffron and spice-toned hues, rich woods, and layered textures create an atmosphere that feels transportive, intimate, and unmistakably refined, while an eclectic mix of Indian classics, Punjabi pop, and global grooves provide the soundtrack.
New banquettes and lush beds of tropical plants soften the space with earth tones and vibrant greenery, while a luminous, semi-private dining room is available for larger parties. Tucked along the perimeter, Cuddalore “cuddle” booths offer cozy nooks for smaller gatherings, while the central group dining area — inspired by the opening of a traditional Indian jewelry box — invites shared celebration in a setting that feels both ornate and contemporary.
Drinks that tell their own story
At Ariya, the bar is just as expressive as the kitchen. Here, beverages draw from India’s regional spices and aromatic traditions, translating them into cocktails and zero-proof creations that move from bright and refreshing to bold and complex as the night deepens. From traditional chai service to Saffron & Silk with toasted coconut smoke, every pour tells a story. Some highlights:
- Complimentary jaljeera, a chilled blend of tamarind, cumin, mint, and lemon, will be served to greet Sailors.
- Daytime signatures include the Maharani Morning with rose and cardamom, the Golden Hour Spritz with saffron and honey, and the Masala Mary layered with tamarind and spice.
- Evening pours include Saffron & Silk with scotch and smoke, the Bangalore Old Fashioned with jaggery and toasted cardamom, and the Smoking Merchant with mezcal, turmeric, and mango.
- The Seventh Leaf, a zero-proof creation, has been thoughtfully designed to offer botanical depth and balance.
