Visit the fascinating Lava Centre museum in Hvolsvöllur, where high-tech interactive exhibitions illustrate the birth and development of one of the largest volcanic islands in the world, Iceland! On the way there we'll pass the town of Hveragerði, where you will see pillars of steam rising from geothermal areas. Enjoy a delightful lunch at Hygge Restaurant and then get ready to explore Raufarhólshellir lava cave, one of the longest and most impressive accessible lava tunnels in Iceland.

This full day adventure kicks off with a visit to Þingvellir National Park, regarded by Icelanders as a sacred place of great geological interest. From there we'll board a special snow truck and traverse the white wilderness towards Langjökull glacier, the second biggest glacier in the country. After our drive, we’ll re-energize with lunch before making our way to Hraunfoss and Barnafoss – two picturesque waterfalls. We’ll also stop at the hot spring, Deildartunguhver.
