Glacier Helicopter & Sled Dogs

Glacier Helicopter & Sled Dogs

Helicopter to Denver Glacier to meet mushers, learn gear and training. Watch an exhilarating sled-team run, and cuddle future champions.

Soar over Taiya Inlet into jagged high country and touch down on the snow capped Denver Glacier. Meet seasoned mushers who share race lore and demonstrate equipment and prep. Watch elite dogs surge across the ice with explosive energy, then meet the next generation—affectionate, wriggly pups perfect for photos. This intimate, small-group outing blends aviation thrills, Iditarod culture, and glacier grandeur before your flight back to Skagway.
