On first look, the Museum of the Future bears more resemblance to an alien spacecraft than any museum you've seen. Ovular and metallic, covered in calligraphy, it has a hole in the middle meant to represent the sum of unrevealed knowledge. This landmark is just one stop on your tour of the city's history; the other is the Etihad Museum exploring Dubai's past (including the 1971 signing place of the UAE's Constitution). Between them, you'll get a panoramic bus trip past other city sites.
