Glacier View Sea Kayaking

Kayak Alaska’s coastal waters with glacier views. Spot seals, eagles, and porpoises, and learn local lore before enjoying a snack ashore.
Set out from North Douglas Island on a guided kayak adventure with sweeping views of Mendenhall Glacier and the Juneau Icefield. Paddle stable two-person kayaks along the historic route of the Aleut Indians, watching for seals, porpoises, sea lions, eagles, and more. Glide through the wetlands for an ocean view of the glacier seen only from the water. Afterward, enjoy an Alaska-style snack before returning to the pier. Perfect for all skill levels.
