Back Country Jeep Adventure

Pilot your own Jeep® along historic logging roads, scanning for eagles, deer, and brown bears while your guide shares local lore.
Set out in a convoy across Chichagof Island’s network of more than 150 miles of backroads carved by the logging era. Your guide leads to scenic pullouts for photos and driver swaps, and explains the area’s history and ecology within the Tongass National Forest. Keep watch for Sitka black-tailed deer, soaring eagles, and—if luck strikes—brown bears amid sweeping coastal views.
