Beach Day: Easy Escape by the Waterfront
A short hop across the water to Isla de Cabras, where the ocean does the talking and the afternoon asks nothing of you but a chair and a cold glass.
Isla de Cabras sits just across the bay from Old San Juan, which means the view back at El Morro comes from an angle most visitors never see. You'll have use of a beachfront hotel and its chairs, with a casual restaurant and bar on site for cocktails, drinks and Puerto Rican plates (all available to buy). Stretch your legs along the shoreline and you may turn up the remains of a small historic fort. When you've had your fill of the water, the transfer runs you back to the ship.
