This summer, we’re bringing a splash of tropical flair to Intelligentsia’s coffee bars across the US with our limited-time Cold Coffee Colada — a refreshing and crisp cold brew shaken with pineapple juice, pressed coconut water, and a hint of simple syrup.

For those of you who just can’t wait to taste our latest tropical bevvie and are ready to pregame its drop, here’s how to make your own Cold Coffee Colada in 2 (sea)breezy steps:

Screw it. Let’s brew it. 

Cold Coffee Colada

Things you'll need:

  • 5 oz diluted cold coffee (1.6% TDS) [~150g]
  • 1.5 oz pineapple juice [45g]
  • 1.5 oz Coconut Water [45g]
  • .5 oz simple syrup [~14g]
  • 125-150g ice

How to mix:

  1. Add all the ingredients into a glass shaker and shake it 5 times (seriously, *only* shake it 5 times — pineapple juice makes a lot of foam, and over-shaking your drink will make it overflow.) 
  2. Pour into a pint glass and enjoy summer with *the* perfect cold drink in hand.
