Say hello to Sun Society: a brand-new, 90-minute poolside party on select sea days that turns the deck into a private Hollywood retreat, all mid-century glamour, retro-chic style, and West Coast ease. Pastel parasols bloom, an oversized pink flamingo takes over the scene, the music builds, and before you know it, you’re part of it.

It’s the feeling of one perfect summer day you wish could last forever, coming to Valiant Lady’s Caribbean voyages starting Oct. 19th, 2026.

How the afternoon unfolds

Sun Society is a 90-minute sea day happening on The Aquatic Club pool deck, built like the perfect afternoon: slow and sunny to start, full-on euphoria by the end. Each moment slides into the next without an announcement, so just follow the music.

The moments you’ll want to be there for

• The Umbrellas. Pastel parasols open across the deck in one sweeping, sun-soaked reveal, and the whole afternoon exhales.
• The Flamingos. An oversized pink flamingo arrives and instantly becomes the deck’s favorite photo op. Selfies encouraged.
• The Voice. Our Hostess steps out for a live poolside performance of “Sway,” all old Hollywood glamour with a little cheek. You’ll feel it.
• The Palms. Palm fans snap to the beat in sharp, synchronized choreography, and the deck moves as one.
• The Polaroids. Vintage cameras start making the rounds, and the best photos of you get taken by someone else. Candid snaps, passed hand to hand.
• The Bubbles. Bubbles drift across the deck, the music lifts, and suddenly you’re part of the picture.

Dress the part

Sun Society is better when you’re in the picture, so pack your poolside couture: high-waisted retro swimwear, tailored linen, a breezy caftan, oversized sunglasses, and a headscarf or floppy sun hat. Stick to a palette of buttercream, blush, mint, and soft coral, and you’ll step right into the frame.
