While Bar Tab is not available to purchase on board our lady ships, Sailors can pre-purchase their Bar Tab in the Virgin Voyages app or by logging into My Account up until 24 hours prior to sailing. By pre-purchasing a Bar Tab, we'll top you off with an extra bonus on us.

You can view your Bar Tab balance in the "My Wallet" section of the app. Select the download icon in the upper right corner of the "My Wallet" screen to download the PDF of your Bar Tab.

Sailors staying in a Mega RockStar Quarter can revel in exclusive access to complimentary drinks and bottles of wine around the ship - with reasonable limits, of course. This includes both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks (up to $25 per drink) and two (2) bottles of wine per day per cabin (up to $90).

Beyond this, Sailors will receive 25% off drinks priced more than $25, as well as 25% off additional bottles and those priced more than $90.

As the name suggests, Bar Tab must only be used on premium beverage purchases. However, if you're looking for a little detox before you retox, Bar Tab can be used on both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

Bar Tab is Sailor Loot (AKA onboard credit) that’s pre-purchased to spend on premium beverages all around our lady ships and at The Beach Club at Bimini. The best part? For every Bar Tab purchased, you get an extra amount added, on us. Get some cocktails on the house or in this case, ship. Like most of our Sailor Loot, unused Bar Tab credit is not refundable at the end of a voyage, so drink up or feel free to share with a friend - or two!

Yes, Sailors can use their Bar Tab to cover corkage fees.

To keep track of your Bar Tab balance while on board, simply open the Virgin Voyages app and select "My Wallet."

Of course! Bar Tab is designed to cover any premium drinks - whether they're for you, a mate or a stranger you befriend on board. Therefore, unlike traditional packages, we're not requiring every Sailor within a cabin to purchase a Bar Tab.

Bar Tabs can be purchased through the Virgin Voyages app, My Account, your travel agent, or by giving our Sailor Services Crew a ring at 954-488-2955 (US), +44 (20) 30034919 (UK), or +61 (1800) 491708 (AUS).

Absolutely! At Virgin Voyages, we truly believe life is about balance. So while alcohol can be purchased with Bar Tab, so can fresh-pressed juices and barista crafted specialty coffees.

No, Bar Tabs and Sailor Loot can’t carry over to your next voyage. They need to be enjoyed during the voyage in which you received them, or they were purchased. If you’d like to have a Bar Tab and Sailor Loot for each leg of your voyage, you’ll simply purchase them separately.

Sailors that are booked in a RockStar Quarter can enjoy a fully stocked, in-room bar, as well as a select first round of beverages on us.

No, the Bar Tab can only be used towards for-charge beverages to be consumed onboard the ship or at the Beach Club at Bimini. It cannot be used to purchase packaged items like coffee bags, wine, or bottles of spirits to be taken off the ship.

Future Voyage Credits (FVC) are only applicable for future voyages booked and sailed within one (1) year of the original voyage date and are issued on a per Sailor basis. They cannot be transferred to other Sailors or used as onboard credit.

While Future Voyage Credits cannot be used to purchase Sailor Loot, they can be used to purchase Bar Tab when paid pre-voyage. Both Bar Tab and Sailor Loot are available for pre-voyage purchase.

Sailor Loot is our cheeky way of saying onboard credit.  Similar to our Bar Tab, you can purchase Sailor Loot before your voyage. Once on board, Sailors can use it to purchase items like specialty drinks, spa treatments, tattoos, retail, Shore Things, and more! 

Unlike Future Voyage Credit, Sailor Loot cannot be used on pre-voyage purchases, including Bar Tab. 

All Sailor Loot is dedicated to the sailing it is applied to, and any unused funds will not be refunded or rolled over after the voyage ends.

All you need is The Band — in fact, that's what you'll use to make any purchases around the ship. So long as it's hooked up to a credit card or stocked with cash, you'll be all good.

What's a holiday without a few choice cocktails? Your sailing includes our essential drinks and, while we don't have traditional packages, our drink offerings are very reasonably priced. If you're looking to set aside some loot for premium beverages, Sailors can also purchase our Bar Tab before setting sail.

If a Sailor chooses to apply the deposit for a Future Voyage to a reservation within a Group, then yes. The $150 paid deposit and My Next Virgin Voyage onboard offer will apply to the Sailor's booking if booked as a new reservation within the Group Shell. The My Next Virgin Voyage onboard offer applies to new bookings only and cannot be retroactively applied to existing bookings. Please note that Sailors will not receive the Groups Bar Tab or Affinity Loot if the My Next Virgin Voyage offer is applied to the booking, as they will receive the benefits of the My Next Virgin Voyage offer instead.

The “My Next Virgin Voyage” onboard offer’s promotional onboard credit will only apply to the Sailor’s future voyage. Sailors can use onboard credit to purchase specialty drinks, spa treatments, tattoos, retail items, Shore Things booked onboard, and more! Onboard credit is often referred to as “Sailor Loot.” Onboard credit can be used in the Casino for gameplay but cannot be cashed out. Unlike Future Voyage Credit, Sailor Loot cannot be used on pre-voyage purchases, including Bar Tabs or shore excursions booked before the voyage’s departure date. All Sailor Loot is dedicated to the sailing it is applied to. Unused funds will not be refunded or rolled over after the voyage ends.

Yes, it can be combined with some of our other offers, programs, and promotions that are available when a Sailor is using their deposit to book a future voyage on a specific sail date and cabin category. Please note that some exclusions apply.
