Hastings Caves Adventure & Thermal Pool

Hastings Cave Adventures & Hot Springs

Hike through an ancient network of subterranean caves, then soak in a pool fed by thermal springs.

Below the dense forests of Tasmania are the Hastings Caves. Over 40 million years in the making, these subterranean marvels contain stalactite and stalagmite formations, with a spacious trail through cathedral-like chambers. Once you've soaked in the caves' majesty, return above ground, where you'll soak (literally) in a pool heated to a pleasant temperature by the thermal springs nearby. Before returning to the pier, enjoy lunch in a local restaurant with views of the mighty Huon River.
