Reimbursement Offer Terms and Conditions

1. OFFER OVERVIEW.  Due to a delay in launching the Virgin Voyages cruise ship BRILLIANT LADY, Virgin Voyages will offer two reimbursement options for persons (or “Sailors” in our branding voice) whose voyage on BRILLIANT LADY, VALIANT LADY, or RESILIENT LADY has been canceled. 
  • Virgin Voyages will offer an Onboard Credit if a Sailor takes action as outlined below (note there are two relevant deadlines - 11 October 2023 and 28 December 2023).
  • If Sailors do nothing as of midnight following 28 December 2023 they will receive Cancellation Option 2. 
IF A SAILOR WANTS THE ADDITIONAL BENEFIT THEY WILL BE REQUIRED TO TAKE ACTION -- see section 1.A below.

A.   CANCELLATION OPTION 1 - Up to USD $1000 in Onboard Credit

Onboard Credit (“Sailor Loot”): Sailors who decide to move their booking to a new active sailing in the same cabin category from their canceled voyage by midnight following 28 December 2023 who were booked on the Brilliant Lady voyages departing 24 December 2023 and 30 December 2023 will receive a $500 in Sailor Loot for the rebooked voyage. All Sailors on other displaced voyage dates who decide to move their booking to a new active sailing in the same cabin category from their canceled voyage by midnight following 28 December 2023 will receive $300 in Sailor Loot.

If the canceled voyage is rebooked by midnight following 11 October 2023, for sailors who were booked on the Brilliant Lady voyages departing 24 December 2023 and 30 December 2023, the Sailor will receive a second $500 Sailor Loot, in addition to the Sailor Loot offered above, for a total of $1,000 in Sailor Loot for the rebooked voyage. All Sailors on other displaced voyage dates will receive a second $300 Sailor Loot, in addition to the Sailor Loot offered above, for a total of $600 in Sailor Loot for the rebooked voyage.

If there is no equivalent cabin, the Sailor may choose another voyage date or opt for a refund for a rebooked lower fare cabin.  Any add-ons will be refunded as well.

B.   CANCELLATION OPTION 2 - REFUND FOR MONEY PAID
Sailors who take no action will receive a refund of any money paid toward the voyage fare, taxes, and fees or any additional add-ons purchased. Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment, i.e., credit card or FVCs.

C.   SWEEPSTAKES WINNERS.  Sailors who booked by winning a sweepstakes may email voyageservices@virginvoyages.com to talk through their options.

B. Onboard Credits will be distributed on a per Cabin basis.

C. SAILORS PREVIOUSLY IMPACTED BY PREVIOUS CANCELLATIONS. Any FVC coupons applied toward the newly impacted sailing will be returned.

D. PROTECTING SAILOR LOOT OFFERS.  We will protect any limited-time bonus Sailor Loot offers, such as $100 Bar Tab and [...].

E. TOUR OPERATORS. Sailors booked through Tour Operators should contact their First Mate. First Mate Tour Operators should contact Voyage Services.

F. CIRCLES. Circles will follow the same process listed above. Virgin Voyages will be contacting Circle Leaders, but Sailors may also contact our Sailor Services Team to manage individual bookings. Our Sailors booked in a Circle will receive the same offer options as above  

A. For sailors choosing the option under paragraph 1.B above, we are protecting commissions for any voyage fare amount paid by the Sailor. We’ll protect commission on the original booking based on the amount paid to date based on the commission offer they locked in at the time. Taxes, fees and all bookables will be refunded to your Sailor.

B. We will also pay a Retail First Mate bonus commission of $200 for any rebooking under paragraph 1.A above for Sailors who were booked on the Brilliant Lady voyages departing 24 December 2023 and 30 December 2023. We will pay a Retail First Mate bonus commission of $100 for all Sailors on other displaced voyage dates rebooking under paragraph 1.A above. Bonus commissions will be paid one hundred twenty (120) days before your Sailor’s rebooked voyage.

C. We will pay a Tour Operator a bonus commission of £75 for any bookings under paragraph 1 above.
