How can I change or upgrade my cabin?
If we've got the space, you've got the spot - no strings attached. Your cabin category may be changed (up or down) at any point before 120 days prior to your voyage. Just give our Sailor Services Crew or your travel partner a shout, and we'll be happy to accommodate. You’ll also have the opportunity to upgrade your booking by making an offer (or bid) through our Level Upgrade program. After 120 days, you can upgrade your cabin all the way up to 48 hours before your voyage. Of course, applicable fare increases would apply.
Does Virgin Voyages offer payment plans?
At Virgin Voyages, we are partnering with Uplift to provide access to a flexible, pay-over-time financing solution to allow our Sailors the most accessible and affordable options to voyage with us. Sailors can easily apply through Uplift to pay for their voyage including all associated costs like add-ons and extras such as Voyage Protection and Shore Things. Please visit our Uplift page for more information about how you can apply.
What is Virgin Voyages' cancellation policy?
Our cancellation policy was created to provide a better experience for our Sailors. Here's everything you need to know:
If you’re booking more than 120 days prior to the start of the voyage, you have a 7-day grace period to request a full refund on your deposit and any other payments made. Refunds will be issued to your original form of payment.
After the 7-day grace period (but still before the 120-day window), you can receive a full refund on any payments, excluding your deposit. For your deposit, you will receive Future Voyage Credit at this time.
Between 119 and 45 days, any funds paid will be converted to Future Voyage Credit (FVC), good to use on any voyage 1 year from the original voyage start date. Sweet deal, huh?
Once you’re within 44 days of your voyage, all funds paid are final. But you do have the option to send someone else in your place up to 48 hours before your voyage if you really can't sail. Please note that taxes and fees will be refunded regardless of when the booking is canceled.
Have more questions? No worries. Our Sailor Services Crew or your travel agent can help walk you through the process. As always, we recommend you purchase our Voyage Protection.

What is Bar Tab and how does it work?
Bar Tab is Sailor Loot (AKA onboard credit) that’s pre-purchased to spend on premium beverages all around our lady ships and at The Beach Club at Bimini. The best part? For every $300 purchased, you get an extra $50 on us. Get some cocktails on the house or in this case, ship. Like most of our Sailor Loot, unused Bar Tab credit is not refundable at the end of a voyage, so drink up or feel free to share with a friend - or two!
At what time should I arrive for my voyage?
In the Virgin Voyages app, Sailors can check in prior to their voyage and select an arrival time. Our vessel will set sail at the time listed and will depart in a timely manner. That means on the dot.
