It’s there for messaging fam and friends, checking our event schedule in the app, making your friends jelly on social (and following us @VirginVoyages, of course), or handling the occasional real-world task — without having to choose a package just to stay online.
Soda, without the soda package pressure
Drink packages can be one of the most confusing parts of cruising. At Virgin Voyages, we take a simpler approach.
We always include soda and other essential bevvies like drip coffee, tea, still and sparkling water available around the ship — a small detail that makes a big difference, especially when many cruise lines charge a daily fee just for soft drinks. (We know! We think that’s tacky too.)
You’ll also find moments of complimentary bubbly during select celebrations, like the Sail Away party we do at the beginning of every voyage (the vibe just calls for a toast). Beyond that, cocktails, mocktails, smoothies, and fresh-pressed juices are available à la carte in our bars and restaurants — and they can be made even more rewarding with a little pre-planning (more on that below).
The Bar Tab bonus: a little extra on us
One of the most-loved features of Virgin Voyages is the Bar Tab bonus (our refreshed take on traditional cruise all-you-can-drink packages).
When you pre-pay your Bar Tab before your voyage, we’ll add bonus credit on top — extra money you can use toward drinks onboard. Because it’s not like other cruise line drink packages, there’s no pressure to “get your money’s worth” and over-indulge. Plus, you can treat other Sailors to a drink (something you can’t do with an open-bar type drink package, which can only be used for yourself).
