Yes, you’re welcome to bring a personal speaker onboard. That said, personal speakers are not permitted in public areas of the ship.
To keep shared spaces relaxing and enjoyable for everyone, personal speakers should be used only in private settings, like your cabin, and not in public areas where they could disrupt the onboard ambiance. -
While we don't have a self-service launderette on board, we do offer full laundry service where we can handle everything for you. You'll find a laundry slip in your cabin with instructions on what to do, or feel free to reach out to us on the app with any questions.

The My Next Virgin Voyage onboard offer is a discount and onboard credit applicable towards your future sailing. This offer can be secured by placing a $150 deposit while onboard. The offer value depends on the number of nights booked. If booking a voyage between 4 to 5 nights, Sailors will receive a $150 discount + $150 onboard credit. For voyages ranging from 6 to 8 nights, Sailors will receive a $200 discount + $200 onboard credit. For voyages that are 9 nights or longer, Sailors will receive a $250 discount + $250 onboard credit. All values are all listed as USD.

We have 10 onboard cabanas available to rent. There are six regular cabanas which will host between 2 and 4 Sailors and four large cabanas which will host between 4 and 8 Sailors.

Absolutely! You are welcome to wear smart glasses during your voyage. However, to protect the privacy of our crew and guests, there are a few ground rules:
- Restricted Areas: Smart glasses and discreet recording devices are not permitted during the Behind the Scenes Tour or back of the house and /or invite only tours and experiences.
- Privacy Zones: Recording is strictly prohibited in bathrooms, saunas, spas, and locker rooms. Violations will result in action under our Sailor Conduct Policy.
- Accessibility: If you require smart glasses for a disability-related need, please contact our Accessibility Team so we can ensure you're taken care of.

While Bar Tab is not available to purchase on board our lady ships, Sailors can pre-purchase their Bar Tab in the Virgin Voyages app or by logging into My Account up until 24 hours prior to sailing. By pre-purchasing a Bar Tab, we'll top you off with an extra bonus on us.

Squid Ink, our onboard tattoo studio, will be open at 7:00 PM on the day of embarkation, from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM on port days (depending on the itinerary), and from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM on sea days.

The My Next Virgin Voyage offer is exclusive to Sailors sailing on a Virgin Voyages vessel. The onboard offer is only valid for registration throughout the duration of the voyage. Once Sailors have disembarked the vessel, they will no longer be eligible to register for the My Next Virgin Voyage onboard offer.

When available, you can purchase our Premium WiFi service to video call and VOIP home. Or you can choose to turn on cellular services and use our satellite link at sea to make a standard phone call home. Please note that the rates for calls at sea are set by your service provider, so we strongly recommend you check the rates before making a cellular call or using cellular data services on board.

On Alaska sailings, all onboard gaming — including the casino, bingo, and other gaming activities — is limited to Sailors who are 21 or older. On other itineraries, gaming age requirements will follow applicable laws and our onboard policy.

Sailors may bring pre-packaged, sealed, non-perishable snacks in reasonable quantities for personal consumption. Bulk items are not permitted.

Sailors have two options to reserve the My Next Virgin Voyage onboard offer. (1) Sailors can select their exact ship and sail date with the Future Voyage Sales Crew by placing a 20% deposit. The onboard offer will then be reflected on the Sailor’s booking. (2) Alternatively, Sailors don’t know exactly when they would like to sail, they can reserve a “Placeholder” by placing a $150 open deposit to reserve the offer and selecting their exact voyage at a later date. The offer is valid for two years from the date of purchase, and the Sailor must book and sail within the two-year window.

Your onboard cabana rental includes the use of your private cabana from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, fresh-pressed welcome juices and samples of smoothies, butler-style drink service (for charge), ShipEats delivery directly to your cabana, and two Thermal Day Spa passes per cabana to use on the day of your cabana booking.

Once your card is linked to your onboard account, you won’t need to carry it. All purchases will be processed through your Band (wearable) and will be automatically charged to the card on file on disembarkation day.

You'll find feminine products and other essential travel items available at the Necessities Shop on Deck 6 for your convenience. You can also find them in the Medical Center on Deck 4.

Getting connected to our Ship Wifi is easy and (sea)breezy. Here’s how to do it:
1. Once aboard, search for the WiFi network “VirginVoyages-SailorWiFi”
2. Once your device is connected, you will be prompted to accept the terms of service. You will log in with your cabin number, including the deck and letter (ex: 10298Z), and date of birth in US format (ex: 04/22/1975).
3. You can then select the plan of your choosing.
If the login screen does not automatically display, go to https://wifi-vv.com in your browser. If you have any questions, please speak to the Sailor Services Team on Deck 5. -
Bags are provided in your Sailor cabin. Should you require additional bags during your voyage, please reach out to your cabin host.

Yes, all charges made to your Band (wearable) will be added to your onboard folio, including any charges made by Sailors whose bill you are footing. These charges will be preauthorized to the card you have on file.

Sailors can purchase the My Next Virgin Voyage onboard offer with a personal form of payment such as a credit or debit card. The name of the Sailor must match the form of payment to be approved and processed. Company cards or corporate business cards are excluded as an approved form of payment.

No. This new offer change will not be retroactively applied to existing MNVV offers. It applies to new purchases made after July 31, 2024.

No. Our ships are flagged in the Bahamas, and as such we are bound by Bahamian law as applied to our ship operations. Per the Bahamian Maritime Authority, products of any type containing CBD or THC are illegal and are prohibited from being brought onboard or used on Bahamian ships. As a result, these items cannot be brought on our ships and will be confiscated as a violation of our ticket contract. Also, depending on the substance and amount, the matter may be referred to law enforcement.

To register a new card please visit the Sailor Services Team on Deck 5. Please keep in mind that we may have already put a hold amount on the card which will take 7-10 business days (depending on the bank) to be released.

The “My Next Virgin Voyage” onboard offer’s promotional onboard credit will only apply to the Sailor’s future voyage. Sailors can use onboard credit to purchase specialty drinks, spa treatments, tattoos, retail items, Shore Things booked onboard, and more! Onboard credit is often referred to as “Sailor Loot.” Onboard credit can be used in the Casino for gameplay but cannot be cashed out. Unlike Future Voyage Credit, Sailor Loot cannot be used on pre-voyage purchases, including Bar Tabs or shore excursions booked before the voyage’s departure date. All Sailor Loot is dedicated to the sailing it is applied to. Unused funds will not be refunded or rolled over after the voyage ends.

Yes, your First Mate will be notified that you’ve registered for the My Next Virgin Voyage offer, and will automatically be added to your new booking, so don’t hesitate to reach out when booking your next voyage or transferring it to your friends and family.

All transactions on board will be purchased with your onboard account. Funds can be loaded and applied to your account with cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Currencies accepted onboard is USD, so some Sailors may incur foreign transaction fees by their credit card company.

No. We no longer require a 60-day booking. Previously, there was a booking window contingency to book a voyage within 60 days to receive a certain offer value. This contingency has since been removed and was only in effect for purchases made between February 1, 2024, and July 30, 2024. Purchases made on or after July 31, 2024, will no longer contain a 60-day booking contingency.

We respect all our Sailors' diverse religious beliefs and encourage them to practice on their own or with other members of their group during their voyage. That being said, please note that we don’t have an onboard formal place of worship.

On Virgin Voyages creating a safe and secure environment for our Sailors is our top priority. This is a super-long-but-super-important list of items that are a no-go on every Virgin Voyages vessel. If a sailor is found in possession of such items onboard or during embarkation, The vessel may deny these items from coming onboard, dispose of items or confiscate items until the end of the voyage.

The drinking age in international waters is 18, in the United States it's 21, and in other ports, we'll go with whatever their country's laws specify. On Alaska itineraries, our onboard policy requires all Sailors to be 21 or older to purchase or consume alcohol.

You may bring a portable fan (battery-powered or plug-in) on board.
Like any plug-in appliance, it may need to be inspected by our onboard electricians prior to usage. Please let the Terminal team know during check-in that you have a plug-in fan in your carry-on and they will inspect if necessary. -
Yes, there will be an ATM available.

Alcohol laws vary based on where we’re sailing. In the United States, the legal drinking age is 21, and in other ports, we follow that country’s local laws. In international waters, Sailors 18+ may consume alcohol unless otherwise restricted by itinerary.
On our Alaska itineraries, all Sailors must be 21 or older to purchase or consume alcohol onboard.
Sailors must comply with the drinking age laws of the departure port and itinerary, and alcohol cannot be brought on board by anyone under the applicable legal drinking age. -
Yes! While in port, we'll feature on board programming for our Sailors.

With more than 20+ delicious options available, there's no need to bring food on board. However, if you have a necessary item or dietary supplement you must bring on board, feel free to contact out Sailor Services Crew for special clearance.

Yes! Every Sailor has access to Wi-Fi at sea — so you can browse, email, message, and scroll social media without extra charges. For those looking for enhanced connectivity, optional upgrades (like Premium and Work from Sea Wi-Fi) are available for an additional cost, subject to availability.
For bookings made on or before October 6, 2025:
All Sailors receive Classic Wi-Fi browsing at no extra charge, with the option to upgrade onboard.
For bookings made on or after October 7, 2025:
The type of Wi-Fi included depends on the voyage fare option you selected when booking:- Lock It In & Base (Standard Cabins): Includes Basic Wi-Fi (one device per Sailor).
- Essential (Standard Cabins): Includes Classic Wi-Fi (one device per Sailor).
- Premium (Standard Cabins): Includes Premium Wi-Fi (two devices per Sailor).
- RockStar Quarters (Lock It In or Non-Lock It In): Includes Classic Wi-Fi (one device per Sailor).
- Mega RockStar Quarters (Lock It In or Non-Lock It In): Includes Work from Sea Wi-Fi (two devices per Sailor).
A bit like on an airplane, Wi-Fi at sea can be limited at times, but you’ll always be connected enough to share your voyage. -
You bet. We'll have a licensed physician and nurses on board at all times while sailing.

As an Adult-by-Design experience, we have an array of carefully selected beer, wine and expert cocktail options ship-wide. If you must bring that rare bottle of red you got in the south of France, we get it. Sailors are also welcome to bring two (2) 750mL bottles of wine per cabin in carry-on bags on the day of embarkation (sorry, no liquor or beer please). Please note, any alcohol in your checked luggage will be collected pre-sailing and returned once your voyage is complete. You are also welcome to bring specialty liquors from a port of call on board. Simply hand them to our security team as you board, and we will hold them until your final night.

When purchasing VAT taxed items in our Retail stores, be sure to reach out to a member of our Retail Crew for assistance in filling out the form. Our Retail staff will have designated hours to assist with VAT purchases while on board. No. While we understand that you may legally be able to fly a drone at certain ports along your voyage, we do not allow drones aboard our Lady Ships. They will be confiscated pre-voyage and returned upon arrival at our home port. Please visit here for the full list of prohibited items.
